Sourced from the Southern region of Europe, our 100% Pure Bergamot Essential Oil is extracted from the rind of Bergamot fruits (Citrus bergamia) grown in Italy. These bright green citrus fruits are known for its historical uses for cosmetic fragrances and food flavourings. Most of us tea lovers are already familiar with Bergamot as it is most commonly used as a flavouring in Earl Grey tea.

MOOD
Its uplifting citrus scent with underlying floral notes are great mood lifters and calming mediators. These aroma repel feelings of anxiety and depression, allowing those crossed eyebrows to be lifted. 
 
NOTE PROFILE
Mellow citrus peel. A toned-down scent carrying a subtle bitter note.

PAIRING
For a greater floral scent, add in a few drops of Lavender to enter a realm of calming sensations and relaxation. 

CAUTION
Though wonderful in many ways, this Bergamot essential oil is not suitable for topical application for it has high levels of Bergapten. This chemical is extremely photosensitive and will produce phototoxics under exposure to UV light.
