Are Warehouse items defect products?

All items sold under Warehouse Sales are new and functioning products with 1 year shelf life for oil-based products and 1 year warranty for devices as applicable.

Only [WAREHOSUE] FLO Diffuser Home (Base and Glass Chamber) consists of imperfections on its appearance which can include discolourations, shallow scratches and imperfect wood grains and shapes.

Can I purchase online or in-store?

Warehouse Sales is held on both our website and in our studio. If you wish to visit our studio, do make an appointment with us in advance.

Can I choose the Warehouse pieces?

Warehouse pieces purchased online will be selected randomly. If you wish to hand pick your item, do make an appointment with us at our studio to view the pieces in person.

All FLO Grab Bag items are chosen randomly for both online and in-store purchases. You could, however, leave your preference of scent profiles (Citrus, Floral, Woody, Mint, etc) or if you love any of FLO's 100% Pure Essential Oils (Bloom, Eucalyptus, Joyful, etc), in the notes section during checkout. The FLO Team will try our best to curate a collection based on your preference of scents.

Do [WAREHOUSE] FLO Diffuser Home and Go come with warranty?

Yes, a one-year warranty is provided as per all our FLO Diffusers.

Our diffusers come with a one-year warranty starting from the date of purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing defects such as the following:

  1. 1. Electronic defect or functional failure within the nebulising diffuser and power adaptor
  2. 2. Glass chamber and glass cap defects
  3.  

The Company is entitled to choose between providing a repair or a replacement.

The Company shall not provide warranty for instances meeting the following situations:

  1. 1. Malfunctions caused by using essential oils that are not solely 100% pure essential oils (e.g. fragrance oils, diluted oils, oil-based or water-based essential oils, concentrates, burner oils, massage oils)
  2. 2. Malfunctions caused by disassembling, modifying or repairing on your own.
  3. 3. Malfunctions caused by negligence of stated precautions in manual.
  4. 4. Damages caused during operation of the product such as broken glass, scratches or stains caused by dirt or other factors.

Where are your products manufactured?

We’re a local home-grown brand with our products designed and pieced together in Singapore. Our products are manufactured in-house. As for our diffusers, they are designed in Singapore and our factory is located in China. We believe in having the final touches to all our products to ensure that quality meets the standards we want for you.

Do you have a physical retail store?

We are mainly based online. However, we do have an office showroom. You're welcome to drop by!

Can I walk-in and purchase directly at your office showroom?

How long would engraving take for the diffusers?

Engraving on the spot is possible as we do them in-house. We would require around 30 - 45mins for the process.

Is there gift wrapping that I can request for?

We’d be more than happy to add an extra touch to your gift! Simply leave us a message about it under the Notes field when carting out and leave the rest to us!

Can I add a message card to the parcel?

How does the Diffuser Home work?

The diffuser is heatless and waterless. It makes use of air pressure to diffuse 100% pure essential oils into mist so you only get pure oils without dilution and common worries such as smoke, by-product toxins or chemicals in your air. The device operates in the following diffusion cycle: A 3 minutes cycle consisting of 2 minutes diffusing period followed by a minute rest. The diffusion will auto cut-off after 2 hours, while LED light continue to operate until dial is switched off.

How much essential oil should I add into the Diffuser Home?

It really depends on how much oil you'd like to use per session.

If you'd like to consider 30-60 mins, which is the recommended duration for optimal therapeutic window for such diffusers, the amount for each use is 1ml of oil - that’s around 20-30 drops. If you’d like to use just for a short 10mins or so, add lesser oil. Or if you’d like to use longer, you can add in more oil. It is dependent on how you like it!

As it is used without dilution, the oil used is more than water diffusers and recommended duration for each use is shorter. However, therapeutic effects are more impactful and the ability to scent a space is much more effective. You can have multiple sessions in a day.

Do note to overfill the glass chamber with essential oil beyond the tip of the microtubes. Keep the oil level at least 0.6cm below the tip of the microtubes.

What happens if the oil depletes?

The Diffuser Home has an auto cut-off timer for the diffusion fixed at 2 hours. In the event the oil depletes before the cut-off, the diffuser will just be diffusing air and no harm will be done to the diffuser.

Do I need to add water into the Diffuser Home?

Absolutely not, no water or any carrier oils required. FLO Diffusers are nebulising diffusers which are heatless and waterless. It makes use of air pressure to diffuse 100% pure essential oils into mist so you only get pure oils without dilution and common worries such as smoke, by-product toxins or chemicals in your air. Can I use essential oils from other brands?

Any brand of essential oil is possible, as long as they are 100% pure essential oil. Not concentrates, burner oils, fragrance oil, massage oils or water-based or oil-based essential oils. Usually, it will be stated on the packaging 100% pure essential oil - in this format.

There shouldn’t be words such as 100% pure essential oil (water/oil-based), 100% pure essential oil concentrates, 100% pure essential oil massage oil, 100% essential oil in alcohol etc.

Can I use the Diffuser Home with open windows?

The Diffuser Home can effectively scent up to 800sqft and even with use of fan or with open windows, it will still be able to scent your space by tuning it up to higher diffusing intensities if required. It can do so effectively unless there is a constant strong external wind (eg. if you stay beside seacoast).

What is the difference between the different glass shapes?

There is no functional difference between the shapes of the diffusers, they are mainly aesthetic preferences!

They are however of different sizes. You may like to consider how well the glass sits onto the palm of your hand when holding it, or the ease of washing when cleaning the glass.

How fragile is the glass chamber?

If you’re worried about breakage, the glass is not very fragile. However, it is glass after all and if you have kids at home, we recommend to place it at higher platforms out of their reach.

Cleaning

How often do I need to clean the Diffuser Home?

You can use the Cleaning Solvent to wash the Glass Chamber when you would like to pause usage for a few days, or when you would like to change oil if you're particular about the slight mixing of aroma. Otherwise, washing is not necessary on a daily basis if you use the diffuser regularly. We recommend to wash it from time to time to prevent clogging caused by oxidation of oil remnants when diffuser is left unused for a period of time.

Do note for thicker and heavier oils, for instance the woody ones like Sandalwood, Patchouli and the likes, washing after each use is recommended.

Can I use water to clean the glass chamber?

Rinsing with water is alright but only after using the cleaning solvent to clean off any oil remnants prior – Do make sure all oil remnants are fully cleaned off by the cleaning solvent before the rinse with water to prevent clogging. To be sure, the rinse with water should not result in any murky water.

We also recommend to have a last rinse off with the cleaning solvent so that when the glass dries, it doesn’t leave water mark spots and you would have a squeaky clean glass!

What is the plastic pipette provided in the set used for?

The plastic pipette that come with the set is for situations where you might need to do targeted cleaning of the microtubes within the glass chamber, or for transfer of essential oil if required.

I am having difficulty with cleaning the glass chamber.

If you are having difficulty in cleaning, we could help with a service cleaning. Simply bring the device to our office showroom and we could run a clean on the spot. This would usually take about 15-30 minutes.

How long can a 10ml bottle of 100% Pure Essential Oil last?

At the lowest diffusing intensity, a 10ml bottle can last you for 66 hours. At an average of 2 hours of driving time a day, a 10ml bottle can last you about a month or so.

Can I use other volumes of essential oil?

Sure, any 5ml, 10ml, 15ml and 20ml essential oil bottle should work for the FLO Diffuser Go.

Can I use essential oils from other brands?

Can I use solutions other than pure essential oils?

The device works best with 100% pure essential oils.

We do have customers who would still like to use their own fragrances or concentrates as they really like the scent they have, and we totally understand. They might or might not diffuse. If it manages to diffuse, how well it will diffuse is something that will be dependent on the oil you’re using.

Do note that the warranty does not cover situations where essential oils used are not solely 100% pure essential oils. (e.g. Fragrance oils, diluted oils, water-based fragrances).

Is the Diffuser Go good enough to scent the whole room?

The Diffuser Go can effectively cover about 100 sqft, about a small room eg. bathroom, or a small bedroom. Beyond that you can still enjoy the scent when the diffuser is placed next to you when in a larger space. You might not be able to smell it as strong when further away from it. Some customers prefer it this way especially in offices where they do not wish for the aroma to affect other colleagues further from their desks.

Do I need to plug-in to a power supply to use the Diffuser Go?

The Diffuser Go runs on an in-built rechargeable battery, once fully charged, you need not plug-in to a power supply. Some customers, however, prefer to leave it charging in the car while diffusing, which works too! We would still recommend to unplug once the device is fully charged to better maintain the lifespan of the rechargeable battery.

How long does a full charge last?

It takes 6 hours to charge a fully flat FLO Diffuser Go to 100% and will give you a battery life of 72H at the lowest diffusing intensity option.

Cleaning

Do I need to clean the diffuser whenever I change the essential oil scent?

You need not do so if you do not mind a little mixing of the different oils, the new oil will usually overpower the previous one!

How often do I need to clean it?

We recommend doing a clean from time to time or when you find that the misting has visibly decreased even though there’s still oil.

How can I clean the Diffuser Go?

Simple! Fill in an empty oil glass bottle to about one-third bottle with our cleaning solvent or regular cleaning alcohol works too. Diffuse at the highest diffusing duration for around 15mins, dispose of the remaining cleaning solvent and put in your preferred 100% pure essential oil again, done!

I am having difficulty in cleaning the Diffuser Go.

If you are having difficulty in cleaning, we could help with a service cleaning. Simply bring the device to our office showroom and we could run a clean on the spot. This would usually take about 15-30 minutes.

I am facing some issues with my Diffuser Go, what should I do?

Reach out to us on any platform and we will do our best to help you out! We would first provide troubleshooting either through an online walkthrough or physically over at our office showroom. Most of the time, most issues can be resolved during the troubleshooting. If item is required to be replaced or repaired, it will be done over at our office showroom.

Where are your essential oils from?

Each of our oils is sourced globally from the best origins. For Single-Notes, each of its origin is stated under the product details. The Blends are in-house mixes of the Single-Note oils.

Are the FLO Diffusers only compatible with FLO 100% Pure Essential Oils?

Any brand of essential oil is possible, as long as they are 100% pure essential oil. Not concentrates, burner oils, fragrance oil, massage oils or water-based or oil-based essential oils. Usually, it will be stated on the packaging 100% pure essential oil - in this format.

There should not be words such as 100% pure essential oil concentrates, 100% pure essential oil massage oil, 100% essential oil in alcohol etc.

Can I use FLO 100% Pure Essential Oils in other aroma diffusers and burners?

For sure! Our essential oils are safe for other aroma diffusers such as water-based diffusers. Simply fill your water tank and drip in a few drops of our essential oils. As for burners, fill your burner bowl with water and drip a few drops of essential oil into the bowl.

Can I use FLO 100% Pure Essential Oils topically?

We generally recommend against using any pure essential oils neat without dilution as 100% pure essential oils can be potent, and each person's skin sensitivity is different. If you would like to practise topical application, do use it with a base such as carrier oil, cream, or other base so that it is safely diluted. General guideline for adults would be between 2.5-5% of essential oil to base.

Alternatively, you may consider diffusion as the safest and most effective method of using essential oils 😉

Which oils are safe to diffuse with new-borns around?

While diffusion is said to be safer than topical or oral intake, it is, however, not recommend for new-borns regardless of the methods of application as they are still not matured.

As a rule of thumb, we would recommend using essential oils around new-borns only when they are at least a year old. It is also recommended to assess if the toddlers are allergic to the oils you are using and that their body is able to handle them well. To assess, try diffusing the oils in the room for a short while then switch off the diffuser when the children enter the room. Monitor for any reactions to the oils diffused.

Are FLO 100% Pure Essential Oils safe for pets?

Like people, the use of essential oils with pets around is largely subjective. As an assessment, you could diffuse the oils for a short while then switch off the diffuser when pets enter the room and monitor their reactions. Below is a guide on a list of oils you should take into consideration.

Dogs
Avoid: Cinnamon, Citrus, Tea Tree and Ylang Ylang
Consider: Oh! Fresh Essential Oil Blend, Enchanted Essential Oil Blend, Memory Essential Oil Blend, Bloom Essential Oil Blend, Lavender Essential Oil, Frankincense Essential Oil, Lemongrass Essential Oil, Eucalyptus Essential Oil.

Cats
As compared to dogs, cats are generally more sensitive to essential oil aroma.
Avoid: Cinnamon, Citrus, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree and Peppermint
